RevoLix - what is the 2micron cw revolution?

 
For the first time a surgical laser is available for soft tissue surgery which unifies all advantageous properties of existing laser principles in a single unit.
RevoLix combines the cutting and ablation advantages of the well known CO2 laser - but there is no need for an articulated mirror arm.
RevoLix  achieves excellent haemostasis like the Nd:YAG laser - but there is no risk of deep tissue penetration.

RevoLix DUO – Why dual mode ?

RevoLix DUO is the first universal laser in urology, which covers consistently lithotripsy, endourological soft tissue surgery and open surgery. This versatility is achieved by combining a pulsed and a 2micron continuous wave (cw) laser in one box.

Revolix® Jr

A continuous wave surgical laser of 2.0 micron wavelength, which is fully absorbed by water. The transmission is done via multiuse, flexible optical fibres, of various dimensions (spot sizes).
The system is absolutely safe and extremely selectable to the targeted area with a penetrating depth for vaporization less than 2.0 mm, while at the same time provides full haemostatic effect without necrosis of underlying tissue structures.
